Select Board Votes to Open the Nomination Process for May 12th Annual Town Election

(Jan. 20, 2026) – The Select Board voted 2-0 to open the nomination process for the May 12th Annual Town Election. The vote was taken at the Jan. 20th Select Board meeting.

The Town Clerk shared this list of open positions in the meeting materials and at the meeting:

  • Assessor (1) 3-year term
  • Board of Health (1) 3-year term
  • Commissioner of Trust Funds (1) 3-year term
  • Constable (1) 3-year term
  • Library Trustee (1) 3-year term
  • Park Commissioner (2) 3-year term
  • Planning Board (2) 3-year term
  • Regional School District Committee (1) 3-year term
  • Select Board (1) 3-year term
  • Housing Authority (1) 5-year term

Deadlines:

  • Last day to request nomination papers is Friday, March 20th at 12 pm.
  • Last day to submit completed nomination papers is Tuesday, March 24th at 5 pm.
