(April 28, 2026) – Ayer Pharmacy is seeking site plan approval to combine three lots along Park Street and provide 10 additional parking spaces for the business.
The pharmacy currently operates on Park Street and the owner wants to add new parking spaces at 7 Park Street, a neighboring property it has acquired, according to the site plan review materials.
Combined, the lots cover .34 acres and sit in front of the commuter parking garage and the Nashua River Rail Trail. Here, we share two pages from the site plan document which you can find on the Town of Ayer’s website. This proposal falls within Ayer’s Downtown/Park Street Form-Based Code zoning district.
In January, the Ayer Planning Board granted site plan approval and a special permit for shared parking at 3-5 Park Street (see decision), where a four-story mixed use building is proposed. This land also falls within Ayer’s Downtown/Park Street Form-Based Code zoning district.
The 3-5 Park Street development will utilize off-site parking at 7 Depot Square, according to the site plan approval materials.
