The Ayer Police Department recently announced it will be offering a citizens police academy from January 3, 2026 through March 7, 2026. Anyone who lives or works in Ayer is eligible to apply. Town of Ayer Faces Projected $1 Million Budget Shortfall

The Town of Ayer faces a projected shortfall of $1,011,707 in fiscal year 2027, according to the town management’s presentation to the Finance Committee on Thursday, Nov. 20th.
